BNA
Conceptual redesign of Banco Nación's home banking app. More visual, cleaner and more intuitive for everyone.
— Context
A banking app that needed to be more human
Banco Nación's home banking app had a confusing user experience, with unnecessary friction and an interface that made even the most common tasks difficult. For many users, especially seniors, making a transfer or checking their balance was a challenge.
The contact who reached out was looking for a redesign proposal that would simplify the app without losing functionality. The goal was for anyone, regardless of age or tech familiarity, to use the app with confidence.
— Solution
A cleaner, more accessible redesign
A completely new visual proposal was designed that prioritizes clarity over information density. Every screen was rethought to reduce cognitive load: fewer buttons, clearer typographic hierarchy and simplified flows.
The design was created with special attention to older users: legible typography, adequate contrast, intuitive iconography and flows that don't require memorizing steps. The idea was for the app to feel familiar from the first use.
— Features
Screens designed for clarity

Redesigned homeMore visual and cleaner
Main screen with a clear summary of accounts, balances and quick actions. Redundant elements were removed and what the user actually needs when opening the app was prioritized.

Simplified flowsFewer steps, same functionality
Transfers, payments and queries redesigned with fewer intermediate screens. Each action requires fewer taps and progress is visible at all times.
— Tech stack
Design and prototyping tools
The entire redesign was done in Adobe XD, leveraging its interactive prototyping capabilities to validate flows with users. Visual assets, iconography and graphic elements were created with Adobe Illustrator.
